The Chronicles of Blake - Volume LXIII
Dear Dear Faithful Newsletter Reader, Yeah, he’s talking to you.
Blake is again taking another creative suggestion from Cynthia, the brains behind “Early Edition” and “Our Hood,” and doing a Newsletter in third person. However, it does make him sound like Gollum when reading this himself. Maybe he will do thisss sounding likes Gollum. Nevermind. Hmmm….Maybe in some partsesss. AAA! He’s typing back and forth to himself! That’s freaky!

Vol LXI - MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE - "Our 'Hood," original play
The Chronicles of Blake – Volume LXI
Dear Newsletterinarians,
I am very excited about this totally awesome Newsletter. If you recall, last week I asked for creative themes. Cynthia Gomez, of Someplace around Denver, CO, also the brains behind the “Early Edition Newsletter” submitted this idea: “…you can do an "Our Town" kinda thing...maybe a little dark, but where everything is reflective. If you don't know the play...parts of it involve people remembering special moments in life after they are dead.”
It just so happens that “Our Town is one of my favorite plays! So… I am taking this one step further, and writing this week’s as a script. That’s right. Maybe years down the line someone will discover this and produce it on Broadway. You never know. I have condensed my entire week into this one act, which takes place chronologically through one day. The names of the people are real. Although the exact wording and who said it may be slightly skewed. Not always on purpose. Of course I will not have myself die, because that’s so morbid. Well….. I’ll just say I’m an... wait. You’ll see. So sit back, relax, and enjoy:

Deer Newsletterinarians,
Since I did not send out one last week, I am doing a double Newsletter this week. So yes, I am actually sending one out this week. So whoever this applies to, stop picketing under my window, painting graffiti on my closet, shredding my pillowcases, sniping me out with paintball guns, and hate mail. Here it is...

The Chronicles of Blake - Volume LVIII
Hey All!
Wow! This week was like super……. Cool/fast/sweet/interesting/weird(Ilikethatword)/swell/happy/busy/interesting/fun. Seriously, I’m surprised it’s been a week. And a blur of a week too, like another world. Kind of like in Chronicles of Narnia where they are away in a land of talking animals for like 47 years and come back to the human world and time hasn’t passed. Wait. It was JUST LIKE that:

Actually, you got me. I made it up....
I am HAPPY to say that it is March as of like Wednesday! You know what that means? I can drink POP (soda, coke, carbonated beverages) again! :D Now remember, I did not drink one drop of pop (hey that sounds cool. Say it out loud where you are right now. “Drop of pop.” See? Wasn’t that fun?) :) Anyhow, I did not drink one…. Ounce… of pop during February, because....

Volume LVI - fine writing right heere
The Chronicles of Blake – Vol LVI
Hello,
This was a scrumdidilyumptious (sp?) week!
On Monday, I went to classes and stuff. It was… Monday! yOu know, I wonder where the name “Monday” came from. I wonder if it somehow evolved from “Man-day.” Kind of like “Father’s Day.” Then the Jamaicans changed it to Mon-day. I wish I was in Jamaica. Sometimes. Only on yucky days. Monday was not a yucky day. Actually, I don’t think any day this week...
